In his native Belgium's Tom Dice, by the way, all writes his own songs, already a star and was able to climb with single and album to the top of the charts. We wish him every success in Germany, has potential for a hit album anyway! Anyway, I'm so excited that I have pre-ordered the CD after I downloaded the album already in iTunes (chargeable!) And heard several times. The tickets for his concert are already as good as me!
"Teardrops" begins with a nice intro - "Start Without The Ending" - nothing special, but then it starts with "Me And My Guitar," an atmospheric and really beautiful song. But anyone who thinks that this song is already the best on the disc, is mistaken. In addition to many very good and beautiful songs like "Lucy", "Carrying Our Burden" and "Broken" there are many, I just call it time bangers on the album. "Why" is a fantastic ballad in which Tom Dice 'voice well come into its own, it splints that he really feels the song, as well as in "Miss Perfect".
Overall, the album is kept very quiet and sometimes reminiscent of Milow or James Blunt. If then even a song is a little faster, that does not mean fast, but faster when Tom Dice. "Always And Forever", "Too Late" and "Murderer" are also ballads whose pace is just only a little higher. As a little bonus can be found on the album nor the cover version of Leona Lewis' song "Bleeding Love", which is also great singing and atmospheric. However, a song I would like to highlight: "A Soldier For His Country" is pure goosebumps! Thematically very seriously affected the song over and over again!
