That's what I thought when I got to play "Pure" for the first time. What Disney Interactive and Black Rock Studios which have since been delivered, is an incredibly fun and completely successful Fun-Racer: The graphics are stunningly beautiful (you have to see how it "feels" when one of these stark giant leaps over a deep canyon makes), and also the game runs extremely smoothly. The sound is great and the process advances, providing a gamepad, well out of hand. The single player mode is a bit thin, but there is a LAN and an online mode for up to 16 players. Even though I personally am not a fan tuning: You can screw together his quad individually with a variety of components and color combinations ... which is one or the other certainly be great fun. Oh yes, one more thing: I am not yet noticed not a single bug ... which in this day and age not necessarily the rule.
One complaint I could find so far: The load times to start the game and between races are quite long. For this you will be entertained but with cool menu music, and somehow I like so far waited before I could rush to the slopes down again.
Really great work, Disney! I can only express a totally unqualified buy recommendation.
