+ Of course this is a posh thing the Queen each kitchen, rightly incorporated in the design exhibition at MoMA.
+ One can prepare a very official espresso. Duty here is fresh ground coffee in the local mill in which to tune the degree of grinding on the machine. Here some experimentation and experience is required. Finish ground espresso grounds does usually not good!
+ One can conjure up on the manual control of water pressure, pre-infusion time period during which great espressos, as it would never be possible with standard pumping machines. When it dominates !!! Otherwise, it can also go horribly in the pants! ;-)
+ The machine heats up rather quickly. That's good if you look "just between" wants to pull an espresso.
+ The machine can last a long time, because even little break can go. Our is 20 years old.
+ Cleaning is easy, from time to time decalcify and place the filter holder in coffee cleaner.
o In general you need a certain passion to deal with the preparation of a good espresso and some, learnable skill for this Barista Handwork with this machine. Who does not enter it, should resort to other machines. For theoretical discussion is eg. The Kaffeewiki recommended.
o The milk foam function is mediocre works, but too little has actually steam.
- The service is not very simple: If you removed the filter holder while still print it, it can lead to the infamous "coffee Explosion" come, in which the entire environment is eingesprenkelt with wet coffee grounds. Overall a nice device with a variety of options, but no one simple operation. We are now switched to a Bezzera Strega hand lever machine that lacks any shortcomings of Pavoni. Nevertheless, the Pavoni is a great entry-level device!
