"Blackout" enjoys brisk sound that heaves the pop music with elements from electronics, dance, house and R'n'B to a new level. The indicator for 2008 is born and the well-known producers to have Britney Spears-typical unpacked hard-hitting beats. Credible dance music is just for Britney anyway and its content is a lot of language. Spears reflects Paparazzi, mendacious reporting, Kevin Federline and the separation from him. So round and complete in itself they no longer sang for the album "Oops! ... I Did It Again". Even the -internationalen- critics (! Excluding Germany) were all extremely enthusiastic -> a novelty in Britney's career.
"Gimme More" - 10/10
A club-banger par excellence with catchy, easy knitted Refrain heralded the musical comeback Spears - and how! Your commercially most successful song in the US since "... Baby One More Time"!
"Piece Of Me" - 10/10
The second single is exactly what is true in times like these. Especially Germany should aufmerksamst the text to incorporate. Even Britney is a human being, what is this country seemingly forgotten, because everyone wants a piece of her more scandal. The song settles with paparazzi and ignorant. A clear case that the aggressive beat and the bass has to be dull. The up-enhancing electric chorus makes the song already for the first mega-hit in 2008 (release date: January 11 well).
"Radar" - 9/10
The catchy tune of "Radar" is enormous, yet missing the piece to the smash hit of the ultimate bang and finishing touches. Part reminds "radar" to Grammy-winning "Toxic" (both from the same producer), but a trace braver.
"Break The Ice" - 10/10
Organ Hymn! This term describes this milestone probably best. The single-grade part corresponds most to the current mainstream pop is, however, heavily influenced individually by the organ motif. However, the final precipitates a little unspectacular, when compared with the demo version.
"Heaven On Earth" - 9.5 / 10
Anyone who's anyone nowadays to be adorn his album with at least one song that is inspired by the 80s. So even Britney Spears on "Heaven On Earth". A pimped 80s disco sound is worked here in three different versions. Britney lascivious whisper, Britney with unprocessed voice singing and Britney in the beat-heavy chorus celebrating.
"Get Naked (I Got A Plan)" - 10/10
Actually, you should give this song 11/10 points. It is the anthem of the album. The Ohrenschmaus basically consists of two different choruses, around which builds the rest of the song. Danja sings the male chorus (beginning and end) in the hip-hop pattern while Britney repeatedly demanding in the middle of the song "Get Naked" and "Take It Off" all the time whispering. The desire of Spears increases respectively in the chorus "I Got A Plan" by Danja, where the lines "What ya tryin 'to do, do, do" coos like a dove in the background. Underlaid is the whole of a deafening chorus of whistles in a good way and daring as "Toxic". Britney sings, moans and bursting with eroticism. Pure Sex. This song will have to be released as a single. Who "The Way I Are" Timbaland liked, is "Get Naked" idolize.
"Freak Show" - 9/10
After loud and beat-heavy predecessor's Song is here again an idea quiet. Britney raps and takes in the chorus in the style of "Gimme More" attention on the grain that is brought to her. Encore!
"Toy Soldier" - 9.5 / 10
Similarly innovative as "Get Naked" comes "Toy Soldier" therefore. Knallharte dull beats give the military-sounding theme the necessary sharpness. Analogous to tune the contents fits perfectly to. Britney settles with her ex-husband. You do not want any more tin soldiers, but a tough guy - but just can not get away.
"Cold As Fire" - 9/10
The intro demonstrates the vocal abilities of Britney Spears. There is a tendency even cause you to be confused with Christina Aguilera. Overall, the voice in the funky number that is reminiscent of laser shots of PC games, set too high. A little more from the voluminous Intro of feel-good number would not have hurt.
"Ooh Ooh Baby" - 10/10
So pop Britney no longer existed long. They make you feel like in the time machine into the past, offset the Brit with her heavenly bubble gum pop to the masses in ecstasy. Ins 2008 transformative effect the Latino guitar and the French accordion. Britney's voice is how long no longer unprocessed. This is a candidate for the ultimate summer hit of 2008.
"Perfect Lover" - 9/10
This song uses the organ motif on "Break The Ice" on again. It rounds out the album in brisk fashion again from, but slowly the air goes out.
"Why Should I Be Sad" - 7/10
This song is clearly the personal message in the foreground, which is why the score still relatively high fails. Britney makes it clear that even after a divorce that life must go on. It reflects the end of her marriage, but the chilling character of the song is designed unspectacular. In the style of a ballad Pharrell decides which party plate too monotonous. Too bad that did not make the Indian sounding ballad "State Of Grace" on the album.
"Get Back" (10/10) and "Everybody" (9/10) are bonus tracks on the album that are for sale only via online purchase. "Get Back" this seems like Britney's version of Nelly Furtado's "Maneater", that brings to mind by the rocking intro to Queen. "Everybody" was created by JR Rotem (Responsible among others for Rihanna's "SOS" and "Umbrella") and is sampling the Eurythmics classic "Sweet Dreams", which was put into a housiges dress.
