It is interesting for potential buyers might that my system is a completely different:
AMD Phenom X6 1090, a lot of hard drives and only two small 80 mm case fans, graphics card lower segment.
(: Then 42 degrees, fan for me with the housing closed inaudible idle at 23 degrees room temperature) compared to my old fan (not AMD) brings the Lori average 4-5 degrees lower temperatures.
Very good is the fan control: She turns only on noticeably when the CPU significantly higher Temps approaches - and very flexible.
Even in summer temperatures (room 28 degrees) succeeds in Lori, even under heavy load (eg video transcoding 6 cores) the CPU to keep 10 degrees below the critical range, the fan would not empty to full speed.
Conclusion:
ideal for the normal user with occasionally higher processor load.
Hardcore gamers with graphics cards on Heizöfchen level or extreme overclockers will (perhaps) are reaching the limits of the cooler.
PS: In my board was unfortunately a component during installation too close to the CPU socket, so I had to cut (only for AMD sockets) with the tin snips something the clip so that it could be depressing.
