I bought it to replace to Officejet Pro 8500, one of the first models. I Decided to get a new machine instead of changing the print heads. The print quality of the HP what CLEARLY finer and I don t really notice a difference in speed. The print Wifi is not working well. At first a few pages would go almost (8-10 pages) and the rest (40 pages more) horribly slow, with no indication why. By now the Epson is in "error" state so does not print anymore via Wifi. The HP had some help-program to test and troubleshoot connection with the printer, I did not find anything useful from Epson yet. There is someFunction That Activates a Epson Status Monitor 3, a few levels of menus deep, but it doesnt change anything. I deleted Wireless Settings and reconnected from the panel, etc ... etc ... not an easygoing machine ... I want to print with USB cable and hope it prints as fast and reliable as the old machine. I can not really recommend to go through this unless you already bought it and need to keep it working.
