Do me the Forerunner 920XT as successor to the Forerunner 910XT brought purchased (last year as a substitute for a Forerunner 310XT). In principle, sees the housing of the 920XT very appealing, but I would not rate it as suitable for everyday use. The clock is simply too thick, chunky and striking (even if it is no longer as fat as the predecessor). Thus died for me even the Activity Tracker function. Apart from the clock counts also madly steps when I drive by car. The display looks at first glance nice and easy to read. Compared with 310XT / 910XT it seems in any case resolved little and poor (have not checked if it is so). In a 3 values Aneige the top line is in any case small and difficult to read for me. The menu is quite a disaster. Although the start of the activity and the saving is a little clearer. One can also new types of activities to add or give away unused and per activity type Teach sensors. Works very well. Transmission via WLAN works to Garmin Connect very good. Alternatively, you can copy the fit-File via USB from the clock. The GPS Fix is super fast and in my opinion, the 920XT is better than the 910XT GPS reception. The fact is well from the start. If you regularly synct the 920XT via WLAN / USB then it also has information to quickly establish a GPS fix.
++ Optics + Battery life standby / active + WLAN / BT Sync + More gelichartige sensors coupled possible (eg Footpod for indoor and another for outdoor) o practicality o Activity Tracker o Firmware o Display (smaller display than 910XT)
Addendum: Missing GPS fix after inactivity is corrected in firmware 3.30. After an exchange of the clock and a new clock and the cadence sensor is working properly and the battery life is also acceptable. 16-18 hours recording, of which 6 hours without GPS (I'll go by bike in the fitness center and the indoor training I brauhc no GPS). Battery seems to me somewhat weaker than in the 910XT. Overall, however, the wireless transmission and use of the 920XT is especially much more pleasant.
