Story: Here stands already on Amazon, if the story like it or not, everyone must decide for themselves, so -> neutral (I myself find, however, is not bad, even if the ending theme has often occurred in games).
Positives:
Graphics - The graphics look really good, especially if you would collect water, then the water runs down the camera and looks very realistic.
Sound - The sound and music are really bombastic, rarely had such an atmosphere in a game. Of the weapons sounds everything is managed to the background music.
Control - doing very well out of hand and each key is used effectively, there is a Quick menu to select the weapons and ammunition types.
Gameplay - The game features many missions and you can talk to almost anyone, which contributes to the atmosphere. The missions range from "Bring me object X" up to "clear bearing Y". Sounds boring, but the presentation makes it to be an experience every time. Furthermore, there are cars, because Rage is 3/4 and 1/4 Shooter racing game. Cars can also be tuned and race can be held. From the weapons to shields, everything is represented, because you have to drive between cities with cars and the road may be enemy cars that attack the player.
Arsenal: The arsenal gets a big plus point, because there's a gun, assault rifles, shotguns and even a crossbow and each weapon can be fired with multiple ammunition types, from simple steel bullets to armor-piercing ammunition is everything. The crossbow even misses electric bolts. Plus there's things that you can build it yourself, for example, spring guns, wingsticks (Boomerang similar and deadly).
Negatives:
Graphics - At the beginning the game has to fight with the reloading of textures. Only everything is spongy and is loaded only gradually, it rotates 360 ° to the same textures can be reloaded. This deters the beginning, but is really only in the first 10 minutes of the game before.
Sound - No real negative point, but for now the votes must be made louder in the menu, because the music at the beginning is much louder and you understand nothing.
Gameplay - The Missions at the beginning seemed to me a bit unimaginative ago because repeated a lot, but the feeling also disappears quickly when the game starts first really.
Conclusion: As we have again one of these end-time games and the description sounds more than just to Fallout 3 that's what I thought, but this is not so. The game feels completely different. From the beginning to get used to you not to be abeschrecken when the game first is gaining momentum, it is great. It impresses in every aspect.
Rage is very reminiscent of Borderlands, however (also from the graphic here) serious and more fun.
