The first book I read by Mary Higgins Clark is "remember you". I loved it and I decided to buy other books by this author that I loved the writing style. One of my choice was "the night of the fox," I had almost immediately chosen because praise (more qu'exagérées matter) made the back of the book. I was very disappointed because the book has not managed to captivate me. But do not exaggerate, certainly not the best novel MHC wrote but it still remains a good thriller. That said, I love all these other books, I read a score. I advise you to buy "the night is my kingdom", "we will not go to the wood", "do not cry my beautiful", "a cry in the night" or "we'll see".
PS: I want to say to "ikneelbefore" that there was no translation error about "hank" and "hugh". It is simply two different characters: Hank Lamont mentioned p.142 and p.146 Hugh Taylor.
