The game has a nice graphic style. The music is okay. The puzzles are highly varied and original. Additional puzzles are also very appealing. From the robot puzzles I would have liked a little more.
What diminishes my enthusiasm, some of eternally long cutscenes are where one is supplied ballert formally text. In a role-playing game (which I also enjoy playing) is so fine, but in a puzzle game but a bit too much. A little story is fine, but when I'm more concerned with story than with puzzles, that's probably something misses the point. Another criticism is searching around with a magnifying glass. This is very tough with the 3DS stylus. You have to settle again and drag the stylus over the screen, thereby making it even unintentional clicks on points that no longer even interested in a. The whole I find it very tough.
All in all a good game. However, due to the "Layton hype" I expected a little more.
