What surprised much more: If because no one on the incredibly poor sound quality of the recording ??? Clipping effects (ie overloads, who become great scratch-like sounds in the background noticeable) in some songs, especially noticeable in "Who's Been Talking", as the singing with "Too Much Is Not Enough" overrides completely. The album is - as unfortunately all JB publications of recent years - once again produced only on volume level. Kevin Shirley has done in the most negative sense as music destroyers all the work.
In "Dust Bowl" I thought initially to have just caught a bad pressure, now I realized that obviously is a system behind. "Black Rock" is also tonally extremely unacceptable. Music without dynamism and brilliance seem to find wide acceptance, why immmer. Man is a creature of habit, the human ear obviously.
I'm going to unlearn the future to buy these CDs poorly produced, although I JB basically for a fantastic musicians hold (therefore probably the two stars). It will be interesting when (or even if) a rethinking is taking place in the music industry in qulitativer respects. Too Bad ...
