Recognized no real weaknesses So far ..

So I get the receiver yesterday via Hermes.
The first impression was very positive. Processing, even if he is very good slightly larger, thereby exerting massive than my old Kenwood receiver. The connections are all well located and convenient, only the fixtures for the speaker cable (ie these rotating / squeezing connections) are a bit shaky, but work great. The establishment of the unit was playing by hand. the vote by MCACC was somewhat tricky, but in the end went pretty well. The app which is for various smartphones, tablets, Macs, and so on (there is also an Android app, which I have not yet tested) are sufficient. One can thus use the device (input sources change, louder and softer, and turn on and off) but nothing more. there are given no EQ features, but me personally does not bother.

Push Now for the negatives .. as far as you want to call it that.
It's nice that you can access via the Internet to thousands of radio stations, unfortunately I am not yet have been possible to create a favorites list for this station. Does not sound dramatic but if you will only even aware of how many stations start in D with "antenna" at first glance, it can be quite costly fumble. Not to mention if you are looking for a station that starts with a letter in the middle field of the alphabet, one must search the gaaaaaaanze list with the down arrow key. Rather time-consuming, annoying and seems somehow unfinished. Certainly there is no search function (at least I have not yet found) which one would be able to defuse this scroll.

Bottom line ...

... I think that someone like me who needs a reasonable immersion Eiger receiver, which has a neat sound and easy to set up is, can safely access here. Search For all those who gets an absolute top .. well .. the should consider whether they are not generally looking in the wrong price range ;-). I do not bereuhe my purchase definitely forgive and 4 (in my opinion) good star.

oh sooo almost forgot ...
So at the moment (31.10.2012) varies the price of the receiver almost daily between 299, - and something around 270, -. So if you have one or two days and will have this receiver, perhaps should a little bit on the Lauer put ;-), it is worth it ..
