Compared to the matching even for Hero 4 predecessor model ALCDB-301, this new version (-401) is significantly more sensitive in the Touch settings and so reach - really quickly and easily all settings which allow - in contrast to its predecessor, which I also own Hero 4. All warranted by GoPro functions so I can confirm. The small LCD makes it easier to change the basic settings of the Action Cam clear is quickly plugged in and out and you can check the results (cinematics) already in place. Good-looking images are reproduced as sharp. Battery consumption can lower one if you turn off the screen during shooting, after having made all settings. For aligning the Action Cam, z. B. the helmet or on the chest, but an Accessory as "Removu WiFi LiveView + Remote for GoPro" is much better suited, although here the picture quality of small LCD GoPro is not reached. Who has chosen a Hero 4 Black and thereby accepted the manufacturer's pricing policy, is also served here well. The approximately equal to expensive Removu would for the budget action filmmakers m. E. the better alternative when it comes especially to the orientation and short picture on-site inspections. I purchased both components, at prices without the hefty increase in multiple retailer recently (Amazon often forms here a positive exception, if one observes the price evolution!)
