+ Power supply by 5V USB power adapter (not constant recharging of batteries)
+ Very stable audio connection, no dropouts
+ Very long range thanks to external antenna (tested in the transmit direction to 20m cross through several rooms, furniture and walls). In the receive direction, the range is expected to be significantly lower but (depending on the transmitting unit).
+ Good A2DP codec so that the audio signal deserves even after the Bluetooth transport the predicate HiFi
+ Inputs / outputs for RCA and jack
+ Confirm tones for pairing mode / successful connection
- The RCA input is far too sensitive so that signals from a player device such as CD / MD are hopelessly overloaded and the audio signal is thus completely distorted.
- Poorly visible LED flashes because the LEDs in question are built into the device and only emit little light through cracks
- Simultaneous sending and receiving audio signals is not possible
- When alternately different devices with the RTX-1 to be connected, each must be re-run through the pairing phase. This is especially true for switching between sending and receiving
All in all, doing the thing quite well-behaved his service. True shortcomings are the input sensitivity and the invisible LEDs - the latter you need but really only when pairing or connection problems. With frequent equipment changes you wish for a pairing memory for multiple devices. I tested the way with the following peers: Linux Laptop, Android 2.2 Smartphone, Philips SHB9100
