Why I bought this device?
We live in a single-family house, built in 1960, with an unheated basement with about 130 cbm. After I replaced the classic basement windows against modern mold and steamed windows ceased to that we also have with daily, partly. Multiple, do not get airing in the handle. After three weeks in use:
Studded windows belong to the past. The mold formation has failed. Infested areas are dried. The device removes the space race in the "low" speed about 5 liters of water in 24 hours. The room temperature is about 2 ° C rise (The heating function has not been used). Airing leads in the meantime to increase the relative humidity. The displayed humidity is currently constant 50 - 55%, m. E. a very good value, since washing machine and dryer can be used in regularly.
The device itself:
The design is flawless and made a decent and stable impression. The integrated carrying handle that can be folding in the impression "of a piece" or "fits inŽs living room".
Panel as well as the operating instructions were in English, which surprised me because it is a German manufacturer. However Anglizysmen used are in the parlance known why intuitive operation is possible.
The operation itself is relatively simple, is intuitive and makes the manual quite superfluous (n. At least for users of electrical devices such as PC, Smartphone and Co). For continuous operation a drain hose is supplied, which can be connected very easily and requires no damage to the unit in itself (see reviews from other manufacturers).
Power consumption:
Here I had to rely on information from other reviews. Compared to other manufacturers dehumidifiers of consumption of the appliance by WDH is significantly higher. Conclusion:
The unit exceeded my expectations fully met. It was delivered on time. Has arrived in perfect condition. Is fully equipped for its operation and requires no further tools (hygrometer, hoses, switches, etc.). The visuals are flawlessly. So if you want to permanently dehumidify rooms that have a relatively low room temperature, should not make any concessions in performance or features, will therefore be completely satisfied with the choice of this equipment.
For the supportive drying laundry or for use in the bathroom this unit is certainly effective, m .E. exaggerated.
