Retro, yes wholeheartedly!

Now I must say that after I talked to anyone about this handset, one has noticed or the opposite told me that this is the quality not so good and he quietly listen to me than usual.

It is now in my report on a retro product. Because what is old, is sometimes and now 'in'. I do not want you in suspense any longer. This is a telephone handset, now to not coupled to a telephone, but one of the can be used in conjunction with a Smartphone. Hmm how could it be the other, it is once again a product from LEICKE. In the next lines I would like to tell you about yourself a little about the product and share my experiences and impressions with you.

Place of purchase / sale basis:

As so often, I have not this time bought this product, but get asked by the company LEICKE GmbH for testing purposes.

Style:

The design is yet to be described fairly quickly or to explain and what I can not do with the description that can you like to see from the pictures. The handset is completely black from head to toe. What I personally like well, since it's kind of 'neutral'. For one or the other, which is very colorful, there is such a similar retro telephone handset in pink, yellow and green.

On the back of the handset is at the top of the logo see trade name and the slogan in dark black text (white would recommend). The handset is like a telephone receiver as he is known from ancient times. There is a small button between the two ears, this is responsible for playing music and answering calls. At the function itself I come back to it later. At the handset side a wheel is attached that is used to adjust the volume.

Otherwise, a spiral cable is attached to the retro handset, which can be extended up to about 1m, during the telephone conversation. At the end of the cable a 3.5 blade connector is attached, which in all smartphones and mobile phones to the corresponding blade plug opening fits possess. I have tried it but only with my HTC One Mini.

Processing:

The build quality is actually very good. There is nothing which could wiggle, everything is good and stable. The material of the handset is plastic, the weight is therefore very low, so that one might think, if it were a toy.

I assume strongly that if one were to the weight of the handset slightly increase, it would seem more authentic and real.

Quality:

For quality, I would like for this product this time to make a clear statement, because only time will tell. In itself, it looks like a but High-quality product. As already mentioned, a concrete statement, I do not want to meet.

Price:

The price of such a black Retro Handset is 14,99. Since I am not an expert in the field of gadgets, I'm assuming that is an acceptable price, because it is not just a toy, but a real working phone handset.

Included, were the phone and a jack adapter. Since the whole point of the adapter I have unfortunately also not really understood.

Criticism:

Personally, I find it a shame that one that is with a single button available to take the calls, but can not finish. In addition, the function of music is to be able to play over the phone from my point of view of total cheese, because I want to call and not listen to music. To listen to music, but there are plenty of various other gadgets. I would have rather wished that you could possibly increase the volume slightly.

Installation:

The installation of the handset is really easy, just plug in and make calls or listen to music. Works like almost by itself.

Experience:

The phone works beautifully with the phone and most of all it's really really really funny. My counterpart has understood me well. Most had to have seen me so laugh once. It also looks extremely funny when there as a coiled cord from his pocket goes up the phone. I'm almost happy with the phone and can recommend it to anyone so requires a gadget as a gift or as a means to make phone calls.

Conclusion:

As I mentioned here a few small things on the edge, I forgive at this point this product 4 out of 5 stars. I would almost say even 'simple' buy and 'just' try.
