Actually, the G930 is a very great headphones, the sound is truly remarkable for a headset with its own USB sound card and is only slightly behind my wired Sennheiser G4ME Zero, against whom he had to be measured.
Unfortunately, the creaking of the G930 was simply unbearable and EIA 179 EUR also intolerable. Had it been in my hand still matter, these noises occur even at very low head movements and are so loud that they even bothered my environment. From "immersion" in the game unfortunately so there was no question. Really annoying. In 7.1 mode, the Logitech Gaming Software crashed regularly and only a reboot let me hear sound from Windows again. Fortunately, the 7.1 function purely marketing thing, because it is only a 2-channel headset. In stereo, the device operates just as well without driver and virtualizing 3D sound I prefer to leave the games themselves, if they support it.
Together with the high-frequency whistling, that one has in quiet passages on the ears and the many "breaking points" (Soft Touch case, earpads, USB port), were with the too many compromises.
The unit returned to intensive testing after even a replacement-unit brought no improvement and even worse whistled as the first. Schade Logitech ... a real shame that a principle so great device is sold in such inferior quality for years.
