Let me start with a little information I have searched everywhere but found nowhere before receiving them by hand: the larger diameter is 25mm curlers.
The heating is very fast: less than 5-10 minutes, just enough time to shower!
Installation is fairly quick and easy: between 10 and 15 minutes for my first fitting curlers, I guess you save time with experience. The clamps and / or metal fasteners are easy to implement.
Then just wait for the curlers cool, I waited a little half hour. During that half hour I could do my makeup! (I was surprised the first heat curlers that I caught, I was afraid of burning my fingers, but ultimately it was very bearable.)
I was anxious when everything off, but everything went well: easy to remove, and curls and volume are incredible. There are wonderful youtube videos if you want to see what it gives (looking curlers Remington)!
One cap with your fingers, and it's done. No need to do more!
On the box only has to store - which is quite reasonable size!
Question held, I have fine hair and stiff nature. It really takes longer than curling iron with a little lacquer, but in summer at the seaside, when hot and humid it is, the holding is not exceptional. But that is to "blame" for my hair type.
I tried them this morning on the hair of my cousin, which are thicker, with lots of volume at the root, and veeeeeery many, and it took all day for the moment, even after a long train journey!
To sum up:
is an indispensable tool to have loops and a sublime volume without losing time and without much damage the hair (because it heats less strong than a flat iron or curling). It's really convenient to optimize his time at best: we can prepare or engage in other occupations while the loops are formed. And there was nothing more than undo the curlers to be ready (or almost).
Regarding the diameters of the rollers, basically I was looking bigger, but ultimately, the loops are very beautiful, have a diameter much greater than the curlers and allow I am sure, to move the loop Victoria Secrets Angels, the bohemian ripple. I guess it is a matter of exposure time, so ask the curlers, and styling with fingers.
Regarding the price, it is reasonable, affordable, and it's an excellent price / quality ratio.
