When the album came out in 1992, I first thought: "Oh, Harvest II". And in fact, seemed to Neil Young his concept from 1972 simply resume. However, at a high level and with considerable self-irony. Had After Young in front of it spent itself in the years in a variety of genres and published a neat crashing live album with Crazy Horse immediately before publication of "Harvest Moon" ("Weld"), the old master showed again its Country Folk page. This has sometimes conservative, but is presented in detail so lovingly that it is a pure joy. The entry with "Unknown Legend" is ideally chosen; a song in MidTime tempo, straightforward and unfussy. DC followed by a magnificent "From Hank To Hendrix". The thread is taken - and will be held until the anthemic "Natural Beauty". Here a man is playing on which has nothing to prove anymore and the world - and has created a classic which is hard to beat on relaxation and heat hardly. The only slip up, at least to my taste, is the slightly sticky "Such A Woman". The unpleasant taste of this song but immediately repaid by the wonderfully oblique "Old King" (note once on the instrumentation!). All in all a recommendation for friends folky music. My special tip: the rehearsed only with Acoustic Guitar "You And Me" and the song "War Of Man".
