But the writing style of Isabelle Stengers makes reading his book a chore. The ideas are great, but why are we exposed on so many convoluted sentences, jargonantes unnecessarily intellectualists often pathetically clumsy. I held out until the first half of the book, then I abdicated! What a relief when beginning a new work written clearly, with a thread that is still perfectly discernible in this case and in the same intellectual movement, the policy of the oxymoron: How those who govern us we hide the real world of Bertrand Méheust. If Mrs Stengers could be inspired stylistically ...!
So, to summarize, 5 stars for the concepts and the utility of the book, 1 star for the quality of writing. Average, 3 stars!
