ALIEN isolation is sheer panic Survival horror as it all too rarely gives him and the best Alien game, which deserves the name ALIEN. As in Ridley Scott's classic captivates especially the ubiquitous presence, even if they do not always see, the eerie essence un generated in the player the feeling that they are always hounded and hunted. Although it quietly goes on in several sections, one must always reckon with the appearance of the monster and it is this mesh makes the game a sci-fi highlight. Graphically, it is, however, rather average quality, especially the wooden facial expressions of the protagonists falls as on the environment design is pretty boring and the bugs that make a now and then look through walls, sometimes a bit annoying. But the Disarming atmosphere makes up for it. A big drawback and therefore also a star deduction I have yet to complain about: the focus of the game is "not let themselves discover" on, but the human enemy spy a partly behind secure coverage. In open fighting Ripley subject generally and thus a bit more playful frustration is spreading. That would be better to be sophisticated. Frustrating ists even if you had to give even a pack make Synthets, won the struggle with sorrow and distress for only around then, caught by the alien, again takes place in a ventilation shaft, where one breathes his virtual life) but makes the also the appeal of the game of, because you can virtually go anywhere on it and the distance between the memory points is usually quite large. The space station, on which Ripley is located is just as great and little by little free walkable, but there really is no place where one can feel safe. ALIEN ISOLATION is pure, without many frills and is limited to the pure fear factor, and what you can not see precisely. And yes, if you the Motion Tracker calls his own, and the movements seen flashing around, you feel even more secure. CONCLUSION: great, sometimes frustrating and difficult game with 1a Alien Feeling, has even exhibit some technical flaws. Worth it anyway. UPDATE 09/11/2014 It may be that this does not apply to every game, but want to get rid of ego anyway. In the mission, in which one flees from the Synthetenwerk, the game (permanently installed) depends always on, even before the next checkpoint, so I had the end of the mission to start over again and then yet verk ***** because the game hung. Did the game then deleted from the hard disk and gambled normal and lo and behold ... no hangers. Just for info ...
