The airplanes have a setting for paragliding and for loops. The latter is only for older children (possibly 8 years?) Or adults, but in my opinion, even for a short exciting (especially since there is also the risk that the plane to the looping like a boomerang it crashes on the thrower). The sliding is much nicer and more fun. There is moreover a risk when you set about the rear wing for the looping setting that you get breaks a piece of Styrofoam at the stern. This happened to us at one of the airmen, although the aircraft is flying for several months without the broken tail cone.
Our children use the flyer for a year now very regularly and extensively. At the top, where the plane lands, there are now already considerable wear and tear, as regularly break out small pieces, but not interfere with the flight characteristics. All in all a gift, which is preparing a long time. We have so far found little other toys which created so much and long fun at a comparatively low price.
Shortly what the "Multiplex Modellsport 214230 - Wurfgleiter Fox": this we recently paid a friendly child, so that the children can throw together aircraft. It seems to have even a little better flight characteristics gliding (a looping function is not available, but in my view, unnecessary). Unfortunately, we could test the short only because the tailfin (admittedly because of improper use) dropped out. This is due to the different construction: The Felix IQ you put the rear wing of the back of the aircraft, if there is even a corner breaks off the not so bad. When Wurfgleiter Fox you have to shove the blade into a cut. The vertical upward tailfin is thus unfortunately joined only two very thin places by plane and also stopped right there. This can also be difficult to re-glue (probably would have the rear wing is equal to stick firmly to the beginning of tail fin). When Felix IQ that is handled better, the upstanding tail fin is continuously connected to the fuselage, so a little more stable. For us it has at most times slightly bent.
Conclusion: In children over 3 years, these aircraft provide a lot of fun.
