Until a few months ago hardly anyone knew him here, but after the Euro Vision Song Contest, that changed abruptly. We're talking about the 20-year-old singer Tom Dice. After many unsuccessful years it is the Belgians succeeded for his country to move into the final of the music competition, and even to occupy the sixth place there. From Germany, he even got the highest score for his song "Me and my guitar". End of this month he comes for five concerts in Germany, which is precisely the right moment, to hear once in his debut album, "Teardrops".

The CD is filled with 13 songs that tell stories about love, separation, nostalgia, dreams and self-doubts. The first makes the track "Start without ending" and that you can really take this literally, because after a minute the song is over, with no end to find - but a well-chosen Intro.

It follows his first single "Me and my guitar". The song is about the dream of music and what obstacles confront a. An easy therefore coming song that quickly settles in the ear. This is what happens the next time song called "Lucy". It tells the story already known: He loves her, but it is not now, and with him is a void in the heart, but he is waiting for his love. With "Too late," comes the next joyful track, although it is about a lost love.

However, with the melancholic song "A soldier for his country" follows the turning point - it tells the story of Sam, a man of war, the plague slowly self-doubt. Then move the rock songs "Carrying our burden" and "Murderer" in the foreground, pretty impressive showing the diversity of Tom Dice. However, the song "Forbidden Love" falls into this category and awakened by the mystical beginning the curiosity of the listener.

"Always and Forever" is about longing and comes from beyond the grave, dennn a partner is deceased. But he is hoping for the big reunion - one finally sees always meet twice in life. Not later than the chorus one goes the song is no longer out of the ear. Slowly approaching the end of the CD: The ballad "Miss Perfect" describes the end of a relationship - one of them falls in love again. The end of the CD is the cover version "Bleeding Love", which was originally sung by Leona Lewis.

With his debut album Tom Dice must not hide and can easily absorb it with his Belgian compatriot MILOW. The singer / songwriter manages to attract the listeners with his music in the spell and creates not only a catchy tune. The album shows the different facets of the singer - rocking, cheerful and sometimes thoughtful. By this artist you will certainly still hear one or the other.
