Rock'n'Roll - still going strong, it still crashes

In the 1982-Cover Text AMIGA Repress the rock'n'roll plate Peter Meyer expresses, among other things to the creation of the disc: "The Rock'n'Roll's the music that we all have in some way even started .. .But sometime we then later recalls this music and simply put together even a rock medley for our live concerts. And that has us on stage and the people in the room then such is preparing a blast that we came up with the idea Man, as we make out of it a plate .... "

And in the Cover Text of anniversary album, with the telling subtitle: "20 years and still going silent" is to be read:. "No eig'nen fans, no eig'nen songs - no one knows us, it is 19 November 1969. Half hour before our first appearance in the "Tivoli" in Freiberg we sit in the dressing room and think, with what titles we start. By 20 clock enter five shy young men on stage. Plug in the household appliances, and shortly thereafter blaring "Born To Be Wild "through the hall ..."

This quite enlightening informative accompanying texts are missing Of course, as with other CD editions, here it is sufficient only for the imprint of tracklists - pity.

Conclusion: This "English" disk with cult status has still the potential, time to leave right at home looking out the sow and to properly make a noise. Handmade Rock'n'Roll as original can not be!
