Well. Because I miss the time of Rose and the Tenth Doctor; It has always been my favorite team, I ordered the book to revel a bit in memories. Jacqueline Rayner is also my opinion succeeded in what was intended: a new adventure in space and time with Rose and "her" Doctor. Rayner has the characters very well presented; Jackie and Mickey seem like in the series and I could imagine all very much.
Although my English is quite good (even had time for a time in Scotland usual), I had partially my difficulties with the mental translation. A dictionary should have in the case of the cases at hand. This technology, science fiction and Timey-Wimey (;-)) expressions are not just the words that you snaps as non-native speakers in the school or even in everyday life.
I would have liked a bit more character story, I hear like dialogues between Rose and "her" Doctor, but Rayner sets here the focus more to the story than on more character entanglements.
Nevertheless gave me "Stone Rose" liked, I had fun on the journey to ancient Rome. It was nice to once again go to the Tenth Doctor and Rose on the journey. :-)
