The sound of Piece By Piece is built around pop music, but can be influenced by other genres in many songs. Apart from feel-good pop songs (Heartbeat Song) and emotional ballads (Invincible, Run Run Run feat. John Legend) found electronic elements (Dance With Me), disco sound (Nostalgic), radio ("Bad Reputation") or Soul (I Had A Dream). This of course comes Kelly's great voice. This woman can sing just about anything excellent (incidentally also live)!
Thematically, the "Piece By Piece" especially to inner strength. It's about to get back on their feet after a sad time (You know what I broke down / I had hit the ground [] / Now I am Invincible / No I is not a scared little girl no more). Therefore, to give other people power (When you angels fall out of the sky / I'll Be The Wings That make you fly). That is why, even to forget everything and just enjoy the music (come on and dance with me / Feel the music like a lover's kiss / Feel the rhythm like a hot embrace). Therefore, to find a new love in force (I can not believe I ever breathed without you / Baby you make me feel alive and brand new).
My personal favorites are after the first few times of listening "Take You High", I like that just because of a rather unusual arrangements in the chorus, very funky-scale "Bad Reputation" and the overwhelming ballad "Run Run Run", the Kelly in duet with John Legend singing.
All in all, convinced Piece By Piece anyway across the board. Sound, lyrics, voice. Kelly Clarkson will remain faithful to its quality. Every single song convinces in one way or another, there is no filler; therefore this album is again a direct hit. Five Stars! :)
