Dragon Age: Inquisition (computer game)

Customer Review

Having now read some very obscure reviews before I could call my own game and now I have brought a few hours of playing time behind me, I can not at all understand why the reviews are so out badly.

First ahead, I will restrain myself to spoilers but just concentrate on the essentials.

Graphics:
I think that here the extent all agree that there is no real blemishes on the graph. It is very nice to look at and when one considers the size of the game it's crazy what Bioware conjures up here on the. One can stand more than a few times in Dragon Age Inquisition and look at the scenery without getting bored. The environments are designed detailed and imaginative and can very quickly under the spell. If we are to take Dragon Age Origins as an example, it may compete as well. Of course, because the one is always a prerequisite and it does what. If you play the game on the lowest settings will of course not much coming in rum, but at high or ultra it is quite a visual treat, although since my computer ever comes into snort.

Story:
Without great story to tell here the story is so far of course not yet very advanced, but promising. After 12 hrs. I will, of course, in a game of such proportions can not form a full judgment yet, but it takes very good.

Sound:
What can I say? The soundtrack is something that you can let yourself slowly melt in your mouth. But I think because there was so far never been a real problem (had even Dragon Age 2 has its moments). There is a complete German setting which although in some places a bit lifelessly sounds, but that's the exception rather than the rule. The hero also received a complete musical version ala Dragon Age 2, but this time with the choice of 2 different voices per sex. I have the people and can already read complain about it, but simply to make it even to the point: They are still 4 votes in an editor such more than any other RPG provides Art. So why the rumgeflame ...

Quest design:
Side quests are in masses Available and you do also like the quest giver on the way. From because of quests for WoW-style. Sit down at the computer - opens a Word document and send me quests on their target just outside of "killing - collecting - Explore" has. Ultimately, running every Quest on something like that out. It is this merely the packaging. I play for 14 years Role Play (outside the video game platform), wrote myself and played adventure and I can say: Yes, Bioware has done a good job. It is never far from the main theme and is based on the environment.

Control:
Yes, it is different. Imagine something should happen. But it is not followed can not get used. It took about 30 minutes and I knew how control flows. Here Bioware has been so kind and has to both types of players set up: The tacticians and the action roleplayers. That's what came out. And I find it well done. I must of course say that the tactic usually fails in view of caves and anderern dungeon-like manner, but here I go the deal, and fall back on the action part. Must wait a minute, little shrinkage is always. Still, I can fall back mainly on the tactical mode. And that's what I was important.

The world:
It is freely accessible and invites you to explore everywhere. A nice crafting system was also the orientation with embedded somewhere on some other RPG's and lets a have fun in collecting the Mats.

The Skill System:
The skill system is reflected in the usual Dragon Age style. It's not much and you can not change what size, but there is nothing that you do not know already from other Dragon Age- entirety ago, of course I would have liked there also something more innovative, but I'm clear with the limited repertoire.

After an extremely verhunsten Dragon Age 2 I had put all my hope in the third again. And there it was back and forth a long, because only well Dragon Age was named in connection with an MMO, I am really more than just satisfied. Fact: Dragon Age Inquisition is a Dragon Age part that deserves the name Dragon Age. It is solid and energetic and shows its full potential. In the direction in which it moves, it also wanted to and in which it also belongs. So I say clearly: Kudos to Bioware and welcome back.

The 5 ****** and the title "Best RPG of the Year" are well deserved and no reason for discussion.
