In the beginning I did worry me if all ports are working under Ubuntu. But that is not the case. HDMI and LAN function without problems. The USB ports of course.
Also, I've read that under Ubuntu not every resolution is supported via HDMI. I run but a monitor with a 2560x1080 resolution without any lag etc.

One star deduction for the missing charger cable.
