I have this Memory Stick Pro Duo recently for good 60, - ordered. Came on as usual quickly and well packed.
I have the card aquiriert, to operate it in my Sony Ericsson W810i because the supplied 512MB card (by the way no original Sony Memory Stick, but also a SanDisk) offered me enough space.
Old out, new in.
Will automatically formatted by the phone (FAT16) and is running properly.
The biggest drawback, however, that probably resulted from the mobile unit here, is, as the previous speaker said, ridiculous writing speed.
Compared to my USB 2.0 Flash mp3 player all takes about 10 times as long. For 100 megabytes must be factored in at the time over 15 minutes. While this is very annoying, but not to change.
Remedy probably creates an external card reader. But it must be noted that frequent removal of the card, the contacts in their conductivity limits (pollution, etc.). So more often than necessary, refer to the MS.
At that size, it should be emphasized that two gigabyte iPod Nano is already capacity, but for me is this capacity clearly not enough!
Who should be Audioenthusiast and MPEG-1 Layer 3 music likes to enjoy in higher bit rates (ie more than 128kb), should resort to four gigabytes. For the most part recognize all Sony Ericsson phones also these cards though they are prefabricated for two.
