After negative experiences with other devices I was looking for a sufficiently silent fridge. For this device, I decided because of 37 dB, which is a clear promise toward low noise compared to the usual 39 or 40 dB before. Was the promise redeemed? Not quite.

Volume:
When it cools, the unit runs relatively quietly. It omitted fortunately the pesky grinding and gurgling who combi and a Miele appliance really bother me at another Bosch. But quieter than a cat purrs, he runs with me not (in the middle on the wall, not in a corner). In addition, the refrigerator is often in action and he makes 3 different types of sounds. 1. the normal cooling process, 2. Automatic defrosting. For automatic defrosting of the freezer compartment of the refrigerator runs more often and especially longer than non-no-frost appliances. Temperature:
I measured with 2 fridge thermometer, but in their accuracy typically may vary +/- 1 degrees Celsius. In the upper compartment the temperature varies much because of MultiAir flows. When set to 6 degrees, the temperature drops there before starting to 2 degrees. Constant is in the drawers under. In crisper I measured between 5.5 and almost 8 degrees. Much colder it is in the chiller box either. I use them as second crisper. Those who want it have beer or meat considerably cooler, probably need to adjust the temperature for the refrigerator gsamten deeper. Approximately -18 Degrees in the freezer are ok.

Interior layout:
The compartments in the interior to get there quite well. Less well resolved is the distribution in the side door. The lower compartment is mounted higher, so you have more space in the vegetable compartment, which I personally find super. Conclusion:

I'd rather 2-3 times a year to defrost the freezer and for daily less hear from the refrigerator, provided he does not run louder than this one.
