I bought the IDE version in black. I had the case not screw apart, but could easily push and back with two screws that were supplied, fix the burner. The panel also included fits properly on the burner and also seated. The board in the housing is fixedly attached also with me. The housing is made entirely of plastic and does not feel overly wertig on.

The DVD burner is recognized by OS X 10.8.3 with no problems, the reading of media also runs without problems. With "Toast 11" I succeeded, however, no DVD burning, the speed was always very slow and the burning process never successful. With "Burn" but I had no problems here were the DVDs with maximum speed, described in my case 8x.

For just 10 euros for me right here the value for money absolutely.
