So now to the device:
On the product image, the size of the device looks more like the size of a cigarette. Indeed, but the unit is three times the size of what is now meant by no means negative, but I must confess that I was very surprised and actually somewhat more compact had expected. So be it, a look from me in the item description would have been advisable in this case.
Positive
Quality and processing: The device is really processed very well and makes a very sophisticated look. The results of the printed bands / labels is also good and corresponds to what I expected. One can not expect any resolutions as a printer here should be clear.
Software: if you have then found it time for a Mac (little tip "Ask your search engine") then the condition also runs fairly intuitive and understandable. There are several ways to print the labels and also presets or patterns.
Print quality: in my opinion, very good. No more no less.
Connections: There is a power supply and the USB connection cable. The device can on the outlet or be operated with battery (batteries not enclosed).
Material: it is already a band with so you can get started right times.
Improvable:
Software: clear the subject OS X software. Why Brother is not this also published on the German website a mystery to me. Ok they exist in the network, but this is completely unnecessary detour.
Connections: a WLAN or Bluetooth connection would be desirable. If even then wirelessly right.
Negatives:
The fact that I first waste before and after each print about 2.5 cm band and the device is also automatically cuts off this piece for me really an impertinence. Here Brother should quickly by means of an update or otherwise create such a remedy. While there are software-a way to turn off the Auto-Cut, but this is in the long run no right solution.
All in all, but a really good device that do what it should, and that made it very very well. Strong buy recommendation.
