Customer Review

The syndrome is classic, writer, talent, how an excellent book (that was the case with Tell No One) and, intoxicated by success inflicts on us every year the same recipe, with less and less originality , less creativity. Required to file their annual installment by the system, between two long and exhausting promo tour, it is unclear how they could take a little time and distance for renewal. That was the case for Mary Higgins Clark, Patricia Cornwell, Michael Connelly, all threadbare, now is the case for Coben, dealing us once more, but still worse, the same ingredients. The worst is that more books are inconsistent, the more they seem to meet their public - which does not encourage authors to more creativity. So therefore, rather than what nth Coben, try rather young authors, those whose talent is fresh and eloquent, they are not lacking, Simon Beckett Gillian Flynn, Richard Montanari or even Tana French, the magnificent RJ Ellory finally on a subject very close to Without a word, but operated much more original and punchy way, those we love, Steve Mosby, masterful author of One in two.
