Scott McKenzie was when in 1967 with "San Francisco" the Flowerpower hit par excellence appeared, no newcomer to the music business. With Mamas & Papas mastermind John Phillips he had already released three albums with the folk trio "The Journeymen", all now available as a CD with many bonus tracks. A look at the top reprinted Cover image or its back shows that this new release is more than just the original 11 album tracks from "The Voice of Scott McKenzie," but an additional 8 (!) Title contains, namely the three decoupled from the album Singles (incl. B-sides) in their mono versions, as well as "Holy Man" and the B-side "What`s The Difference, Chapter III" another single. The song "San Francisco" was of course not to beat, but Scott McKenzie has definitely added more than just a good song, like this album proves. Excellent sound quality, and comes highly recommended by the way also Scott McKenzie's follow-up album Stained Glass Morning from 1970!
