If you take the alarm clock in the hand you are usually pretty surprised that it is relatively easy. Visually looks the part of much more difficult, but then you realize yet that it's only (cheap) plastic, what you have in hand.
The clock is fortunately supplied with battery. After running the it takes a while before the alarm clock displays the time. During this time it is not possible to turn the top button, the lighting - which is why I first feared that this is not working. But after having "found" the time, the lighting worked flawlessly.
Despite the overall positive impression, however, there's also some disadvantages:
- It is not possible to set the time manually. Find the alarm no radio signal, it also shows the time not to. He then tried to capture the true signal every two hours, but if you are out of reach, there is no way to set the time manually.
- So you can not use the alarm clock also outside our time zone, because the clock is always based on the DCF clock in Frankfurt.
- Although the alarm has no second hand - but he ticks (of course) anyway. And approximately every 8-10 seconds. This tick is quite audible to someone who is on regular noise "allergic". Eventually one listens ticking automatically to the next silent. Although it is much quieter than conventional alarm clocks - but still audible.
- The lighting is a bit weak and takes place from only one side (bottom). Therefore, the dial is difficult to read as you would like.
Because of these drawbacks from me it only 3 stars.
