As Carpendale fan for over 25 years I have to say that Howard has done with his last album no favors. The songs sound uninspired, flat and leave everything that miss what has distinguished him straight in the 70s and 80s so. Somehow he and his team is well run out of steam, to write again real hits. Were his CDs of the 90 yes all not so brilliant, but let his latest album "Everything OK" with varied themes and musical styles sit up again. For last album I would have wished for. Instead, songs that come along completely without personality and wit and not "wanting more" make. Perhaps Howard had finally again to show courage, and with other, younger and more modern composers and lyricists (and not always his friend Joachim Horn Bernges) should zusammenarbiten because the themes of "The right moment" there was in his previous CDs abound. (I have all Carpendale CDs!) I would have liked, he would have to end again all his fans (and friends hit) surprised. Good Bye Howard, See you in the farewell concert!
