Aged eleven, Aminata Diallo is kidnapped from her village by slave traffickers. The author traces the different stages of the slave trade; capture, crossing, sale, forced labor, enslavement. This novel is based on a historical work; publications (period newspapers, bios, reports ...) and investigator in Africa. The slave trade had assaulted the African continent for centuries and constituted a historic monstrosity, partly because of this duration. It's Frantz Fanon who best summarized by this calamity succinctly: "I am negro and tons of channels, blows storms, sputum rivers stream down my shoulders ... The color of the man's misfortune to have been enslaved. Unhappiness and linhumanité Blanc is the man to have killed somewhere " Under the guise of an imaginary autobiography, this book can reproduce a lackluster page in the history of mankind.
