This album represents the predecessor completely in the shade. It sounds much more elaborate and sophisticated than the self-titled debut. Even if there is still the feeling to hear Sepultura (eg would "Back To The Primitive" well on the "Roots" album fit), you could tell that evolved in Soulfly another style. This album contains so many duets, like no other. It skilfully combines trash, Death, and in between also nu-metal elements with tribal influences and all that is built around Max Cavalera's unique voice. The song diversity and the songwriting is so good that the album is never totzuhören. One always discovers new songs on this album. The digipack offers in addition to the normal tracklist two live tracks and two tracks. Highlights include "Back To The Primitive", the duet with Slipknot's Corey Taylor "Jump Da F *** Up", the Kolaboration with Asha Rabounin "Fly High" and of course, the duet with Slayer's Tom Araya "terrorist". Quite surprisingly, just like on the debut, the acoustic song ("Soulfly II"). Finally, one can only say: This album is one in every Metal collection.
