This soundtrack is a first class product. Of course it is a great advantage to know the game Final Fantasy X, as you know immediately which songs describes the mood and what scene is shown from the game to do so. Because if we are honest, then the game without music would certainly not quite as good. The moods in which both the players and the protagonists are, are perfectly taken up and expressed. The fact that the game has just about everything, even the soundtrack is pure variety. The whole range of melodies and moods exists: From happy to sad, from melancholic to silly, from relaxing to full of action, of mysterious and menacing. Added to this are three vocal songs ("Otherworld", "Suteki Da Ne" and "Rikki"), which also carry the mood of the game perfectly. Nobuo Uematsu, it creates also not uncommon to achieve optimal results with minimal resources. But as I have already mentioned, the soundtrack is also well suited for people who do not know the game. He is, in my opinion, some film music in the shade.
Of course, the question arises as to the benefits of such soundtracks. Do I need the songs again specially if you own the game anyway, especially since they can acquire there in the form of music spheroids? The answer to this question must of course everyone will find themselves. I belong to the hunters and gatherers that such rarities like to buy and appreciate it again, if a product is made as attractive as possible. However, I can understand it well when potential buyers are put off by the sometimes relatively high prices. But that happens to be the world of supply and demand.
