Reviews're necessarily personally, since there may be objective impressions while listening to music difficult, at least for the predicate good or bad. Therefore also here no claim is logged in to evaluate this album objectively. And how is it subjective?

Solo album number one showed up in production already significantly smoother, certainly more pop than the previously known Tomteveröffentlichungen. But anyway, the album did not convince not only, but especially due to its partly strong lyrics. It is this factor falls away when album # 2. Uhlmann has always been known for its strength to transport feelings, moods and emotions. The lyrics on # 2 assets that all no longer do. As well as? It describes externals that everyone more or less knows the lyrics are thus not interesting, but boring. Uhlmann is limited to describe the everyday, subtle picking up as the everyday madness, as he previously knew it as well.

The train of the migratory birds, the tanker moored go (really?) And sheep without a shepherd, neither verbal images that are suitable hervozurufen enthusiasm, nor rich lyrical approach to ancient texts from Uhlmann or even Tomte. Too bad, because the sense of themes is Thees Uhlmann has not been lost, but the mediation, the presentation is uninspired than ever.

Maybe it's the fact that the album is not only externally become quite a poor copy of solo album 1. The red # 2 seems to be the only relevant message that can convey the cover. Otherwise only gray in gray and unfortunately also applies to music. A little more time would have been here maybe can cause some. Thus, this publication is just disappointing. How fitting (or surprising?) That this will probably be the most commercially successful.
