I have noticed the following advantages and disadvantages:
Advantage:
- Since it is not painted, there is no paint damage, etc.
- Solid processed. All this makes a high impression (there is nothing that looks like cheap goods)
- Good and solid closing mechanism of the door
- No protruding door handle / strap (is sunk and flush with the paneling)
- Very large panoramic window
- Storage blocks can be retrofitted if necessary, but quite expensive (cost / benefit?)
- Available through lower door covered storage space for wood
- High combustion chamber (but narrow)
- Oven height 1.5 m at leaner, round design looks detached from very delicate
(This is with vertical exhaust pipe reinforced)
- Large robust ash box
Disadvantages as far as known:
- Design-related narrow combustion chamber (for 25 cm logs designed)
But you can also, for example, thick logs 33iger incline / edgewise
- Large domed panorama windscreen -> which is probably quite expensive if defective
- Large wheel -> more or less fouling of the plate can be with frequent reloading hardly be avoided (the cleaning is however problem).
We achieve the best results, if the logs are approximately perpendicular to a bed of embers. She stays very long very clean.
- The shape of the "fireclay" -Brennraumverkleidung is very special so no 0-8-15 plates (groove surface, 2 holes, shaping etc.) Here are parts probably a bit more expensive and can probably barely be cut from standard blanks yourself to size ,
The Amos Corten steel is a practicable eyecatcher due to its high, round shape and the failed "hydric" material.
The Fa. Hase has a similar brown oven (also round and high) on offer.
But he is "only" painted and significantly more expensive.
Finally, to point out that a black-painted vertical exhaust pipe fits well to the oven. I think that's not a visual break in style.
