For 4 weeks I'm now the proud owner of this lens and have to say I regret it no second. By focusing distance of 16cm it is suitable for close-up fine. Meanwhile, it has completely replaced my 50mm 1.8.
The build quality is top, very happy I was about the fact that the lens has a metal bayonet (which I knew but before you buy)
The focus is also super. Anyone investing here 179 does absolutely nothing wrong.
