The shaving head incl. Blade about exchange must when my beard every 6-8 months. The specified 18 Month i can achieve painless Never. The new head is shaved then running like new, only the price is pretty damn high for such a blade block. The next time I'll probably switch to shaver Philips, but my Braun shaver needs to keep a few more years because it's only 2 years old.
