After the first days of my preliminary conclusion:
+ Shaving quality is in relation to my view, already really decent HQ8150 actually again become much better. In my eyes he shaved better than I ever thought that an electric shaver that ever could.
+ By the freestanding shaving heads who really außenrum little material, to get in a few places better off, who were with the old 8000 for me always a bit difficult (approach the sideburns, a few places on the neck, right under the nose)
o The capacity of the hair chambers is significantly smaller than in 8000; In addition, the razor starts to crumble, if you do not cleanse him longer; it is less dense than my age. Advantage: Together with the alarm clock, I do clean it regularly.
o One must open three small hair chambers by dragging and empty. That's fisseliger and lasts longer than the 8000, where you just had to press a button and then the single large chamber has risen; it's just the Preies, you have to pay for the mobility of the razor and hence the shaving result.
o the shape of the razor I feel personally attacked less favorable than that of the old HQ series. Maybe that's also just habit.
- The supplied charging station is completely impractical. One has to put it back on the shaver and can not lie down readily him; the whole is then approximately 16cm high and fits at least not in my mirror cabinet pure. Here, the charger can be folded and lying down (also with shaver in it) - just plug the charger is mounted so stupid that you can not charge in this position!
- The shaver will not lie on your back, if you him (like the "HQ" -Philips razor) with the trimmer lying down because some designers left out the small "feet", who had been the shaver. Alternatives: either to put aside (inconvenient if he was washed out to dry and open), but again use the stupid charger or abuse the trimmer as extendable stand, which is likely to do it in the long run is not good ...
- The carrying case is - quite frankly - the cheapest and most horrible acting, what I thought of Philips in this regard until now in his hands. It fits neither the charging station (with or without a razor) in, nor can one easily fooled and shut the razor, because the zipper getting somewhere hooked on the razor and you only have to pull around the razor the labbe engined fabric edging with your finger. By contrast, even the bag of HQ8150, where you can in there transporting at least either razor or charging cable and one zukriegt easily, really good (to say nothing of the old is also suitable for one-handed operation and daily Storage Hard Cases like the HQ5865 ...).
Unfortunately the RQ1250 does not fit purely in the old bag, because it is slightly longer than the old razor.
My conclusion: Shave: 5 stars, Handling: 1 Star - Result: 3 stars.
If he would not shave so devilishly well or if you would get the shaving heads with another body, I would give it back again. But it remains - and I'm going to worry about a reasonable substitute for this charging cradle and try other transport bags with acquaintances ...
