That Ariola has re-released this masterpiece after 25-year-old archive sleep, I keep some distance myself benefited. Two years ago, tinkered a friend of mine at a Ennio Morricone-compilation, and because he knew me, that Master had repeatedly collaborated with Mireille Mathieu, he wanted some place of their titles in the series. To this end, he sat down with Ariola in connection that does not just avulsion one leg in front of helpfulness. Nevertheless, said friend finally got the rights to publish some titles from the Ariola repertoire. In addition, should four more shots of Mireille Mathieu on the CD, which had at that time appeared only on single "Pas vu pas pris" (from the movie "Le Casse"), "Mon ami de toujours", "Nata libera" and " Quando Verranno i giorni ". Of the latter two not original tapes were partout raise more, so that you finally lent my music and it created a new master. The result, a CD with numerous quality Morricone interpretations, including seven of Mireille Mathieu, finally appeared at Bear Family record, entitled "Canto Morricone Vol. 3" and is in the catalog of Amazon.com to see "Ennio Morricone". At the same time Ariola then brought out the present here full original album from 1974. Maybe you had noticed it at Ariola by our interest in these photographs, what a chef d'oeuvre was allowed because hinstauben in the archives before him. Unfortunately, the once elaborate cover, the numerous photographs and texts (including a flattering eulogy of Morricone on the vocal performance of Mireille Mathieu) was contained, compressed to a cheap Faltblättchen and bears the imprint tasteless "For the first time on CD." The recordings, however, are probably having the most wonderful thing Mireille Mathieu has ever geleidenschaftet into a microphone. A brilliant blend of lovingly detailed, rich arrangements, the swelling chorus and precisely that voice that is so bright and powerful as a sunrise in the summer in Provence.
