Captain Morgan's Revenge (Audio CD)

Customer Review

At Alestorm are the ghosts that already have several reviews of the album "Captain Morgan's Revenge" shown. Since minimum and maximum ratings are close together. Well, either you like it or not. But how sound Alestorm for now anyway? Thus, as would be the soundtrack to "Pirates of the Caribbean" has been recorded by a metal band. It is true that Alestorm remember musically a little of the Finns Turisas. Furthermore, but there are also traces of Blind Guardian or a touch of Finntroll in music. Primarily the orchstralen parts of the songs remind natural as -I mentioned it so other protected "Pirates of the Caribbean" in adventure films. Then there is the rough, "authentic piratige" voice of singer Christopher Bowes. The majority of the songs is located in the higher pace, but there are also "Schunkel numbers" as "Nancy The Tavern Wench" or "Flower of Scotland" (the latter is originally a Traditional) and the acoustic piece "Of Treasure" on the album. For me anyway, is "Captain Morgan's Revenge" a case for five stars. Arrr!
