Shrinks landscape to portrait

Generally holds the adapter, as usual from Apple that delivers what it promises. Since I almost exclusively receiving photos and videos with the iPhone, I would like to be able to view these in corresponding types quality on your TV. This does not work in the home video unfortunately. The videos I have specially created in landscape mode, so that the whole TV picture will also be exploited. I open the photo app, previewing the video to me appears still correct. But I started the film, the image is compressed to approximately vertical and looks accordingly extremely modest. Photos in landscape mode are displayed correctly. Even videos in the Video app or Youtube are displayed in the full landscape. I'm guessing here, but rather a problem with iOS7 and not with the adapter itself. I've tested with two different iPhones to 3 different TVs. Therefore, until further notice, only used 3 stars.
