Sigur Ros once again in top form

For me Sigur Ros have reached the status of infallibility. And her latest Opus underscores this statement. The four sympathetic Icelanders can easily go wrong.
At first listen, I thought at first, the guys have taken any drugs. The pace that they beat at first, was rapidly for their circumstances. 'Gobbeldigook' sounds but after the umpteenth listening still for the perfect opener for such an album. I thought at first still, which is the `härteste`Sigur Ros album, I was already a few songs later disabused. They remain faithful to their style. What may sound boring. But Sigur Ros add the always added a new facet. They pack their mostly melancholy sounding soundscapes in changing colors. Sure it may be hard for many a listener to hear a full album. But these miss the surprises, and just on this new album with the unpronounceable name. Just 'Festival' is a typical example. Only one means to have heard the basic idea on a previous album. But then there is a change, it is believed already to have arrived the next song. Error.
From then on, but again ruled the unmistakable, sometimes quieschig sounding voice and the piano and acoustic guitar. And one has returned to the world of Sigur Ros as we know it. And the one captures from the very first second. This music can not explain. Sigur Ros one feels when listening. There are no words. Your last year released DVD is a much more useful.
I think this album would still be perfect for beginners. The other love Sigur Ros anyway for their music. And the rest? Should listen to what they want to give. But they miss a lot.
