Elo Smaragd
Raw Merana with Schmorpfanne
Silit Tuscany
I have decided to ultimately Silit because as a brand cookware but certainly the problems as Elo and Rohe with stain or tarnish or the like does not have. No way !!
Today the set arrived and I took it immediately to instructions in operation. First, you should about 5 each pot - Cook for 10 minutes by a vinegar solution. Then wash normally. When I had dried off 4 the pots, I already discovered first minor stains on the ground (no lime). Honestly? Even during the warm-up something - which was quite a shock absorber. In the directions recommended such spots to remove directly. Have tried it with VISS scouring Activ. The stains were indeed reduced, but not completely removed. :-(
Furthermore, the cover lying on the pouring edge on, so close but not firmly from are relatively loose. The first test of cooking rice and potatoes came with boiling liquid immediately the lid rattling ... whether this is due to at such a branded ?! Mmhmmm I do not .... know ....
The liter information capacity are still top "beautiful" corrected. It fits in less than in the supply and is also the box provided (instead of 5.8 liters - 5 liters (5.8 l runs the pot over !!) ... instead of 3.6 liters - 3 liters, etc.) , Again as a matter of interpretation ....
The glass lid with handle is super-hot - is going to cook a few minutes without gloves or potholders nothing .... - but it is also pointed out in the instructions that a potholders should be used. So that's not a direct flaw.
Basically, I have to say that the set fascinates me least of the optics and of the pot size selection. The state of the pots is determined, the handles on the pot can be even during long cooking still good touch (slightly warm). The liter scale and the pouring rim are super practical and in my opinion, now belong to each pot.
Would I buy it again but this set is debatable. I just put on the brand Silit because I counted with the above problems more with the cheaper brands. Should I once more have to decide, I would give the ELO emerald set with the beautiful Schmorpfanne preference! The dampers use I would certainly have no use for, but the one can in an "auction house" resell ...;) If the pot selection is not sufficient and can do without a Saute Pan / wants, should strike of one of the other ELO Potsets.
Conveniently no trash and must be a "brand" is not necessarily the ne plus ultra. ;-)
Therefore:
3 stars for "Not bad" .. but not "really good" .. ;-)
