I had been a Cyclotest 2, with which I, however, could not cope (I have to measure at different times, what is not saved, however). In order to be independent of it, I have additionally bought the analogue Geratherm Thermometer. Initially I thought the thing would be broken. It was down just above the reservoir a crack or a gap in the measurement column and the column did not increase when I held it in a lukewarm hot water bottle. After I had, however, informed me a little more about this issue, it became clear that the crack is normal, as long as it is under the restriction. The fact that the column was not moving, was a physical problem. Meanwhile, I can say that the thermometer is reliable, easy to clean and the column - with the right technology - can also shake down again quickly. A big plus there by myself for the exclusive use of glass for the outer casing! The magnifying glass envelope is a good idea because sometimes you actually in the dim light of the bedroom can read a little worse. I am very pleased with this thermometer, and it would always be a friend.
